Background

I’m an Associate Creative Director with 15+ years professional experience, working for a range of agencies across the UK. As a creative lead, I’ve enjoyed playing a key role in delivering a broad range of projects. From reshaping global brands, telling compelling stories through films, campaigns, and writing, or developing rigorous design systems to guide and inspire.

I’ve gained a great deal of client experience across a broad selection of brands in the tech, finance, textiles, manufacturing, and luxury spirits sectors. Over the years I’ve enjoyed leading various multi-disciplinary creative teams – made up of designers, 3D artists, animators, photographers, film production and interior designers.

I love shaping the big idea as much as sweating the details. I also love playing a role in establishing the fundamentals – from helping to define the brand positioning, developing both the verbal and visual identities, before working with the creative teams to bring the brand to life in execution. I’m a big believer in being able to drill down to the root of the business challenge – brand, product or otherwise. Gaining insight into what the business needs are, through brand audits and workshops – all the while building and maintaining strong client relationships along the way.

At my current agency, I’ve played a key role over the last 6 years helping build a strong and diverse creative team. Developing (and stretching) their individual skill sets through guided projects and 1-2-1 mentoring.

I’ve also had the pleasure of acting as a visiting lecturer at various Art School institutions, as well as being part of Kerning the Gap — the mentoring programme that focuses on increasing diversity in creative leadership roles.
