In 2020, these two iconic British brands came together to form a creative partnership. Launching a series of unique, collectable products and timeless experiences for whisky and car lovers alike.
To launch the partnership, it was vital to establish some common ground, celebrating the best of both brands. Decades of craftsmanship to create the world’s finest whisky. Over a century of expertise to perfect the world’s most beautiful car. This appreciation for time and the pursuit of excellence is what binds the two together, providing the foundation for an enduring campaign platform.

Leading a team of creatives, digital designers, film makers and photographers, we developed the visual identity and launch campaign for the partnership. Drawing inspiration from both the rugged landscape of Islay, Bowmore’s home, mixed with the uncompromising silhouettes of Aston’s automotive design. A distinctive graphic language and art-direction brought to life the underlying narratives of time and performance.
The campaign was rolled-out across a range of delivery, including experiential design builds, social assets and a launch film. Comprehensive creative guidelines helped keep the global roll-out in-check, ensuring creative was consistent and to the highest visual standards.
Building on the success of the partnership launch, we then set the creative direction for the partnership’s first product launch – the exclusive DB5 Black Bowmore release, developed across a range of campaign assets.
